General Leasing Questions

Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?

You are welcome to bring additional furniture with you, but don’t forget that we fully furnish all of our apartments. If you wish to replace some of our furniture and use yours instead, you will be responsible for finding storage for our furniture and putting the items back upon your move out.

How are roommates matched?

Roommates can be matched in a couple different ways -- either you tell us who you want to live with, or if you don't have roommates in mind, we are happy to do the matching for you! We use the information that you and your potential roommates fill out on your preferences with your application to pair you up. Although we cannot guarantee a perfect match, you can rest assured that we do try to find the best match possible. Roommates are paired on a first come, first serve basis and we cannot guarantee that requests will be accommodated.

How close to campus are you?

We are located .1 miles from campus -- just steps from class!

How many people live there?

Every year the total number can vary, but we have room for 897 residents!

Can I pay my bill with a credit card?

You can make payments online with a credit card. There are transaction fees that apply with the use of a credit card and it is a percentage based off the amount of the transaction. You will be shown the convenience fee when making the payment and have to agree to the extra fee before the payment is processed.

Is parking available?

We have a limited amount of reserved covered and uncovered parking spaces available for lease on a first come, first serve basis. For the 20-21 lease term, covered parking is $170/month and uncovered parking is $160/month. Please contact the office if you are interested in reserving parking.

What is individual liability leasing?

Individual liability leasing means that we lease by the bed space, not by the unit. In other words, each resident is on their own individual lease contract.

Why do I have to pay a full installment in August?

We charge a full contract amount for the entire lease term, which we split up into equal installments on the lease contract. It’s like a car loan: the resident owes a total contract amount, not a monthly rate. They can pay it all in advance, or we can divide it up into equal installments for them.

What utilities are included in the monthly rent?

Water to a monthly cap of $15/mo is included, as well as sewage, Trash, Internet, and Cable.
